The Rising Together Theater Company; board members Jack Gilroy, Nydia Leaf, Pat Elder and Martin Sheen; cast members Michelle Mallardi, Grazia Saporito, Emily Barkovic and Olivia Hardin; and crew members Tara Byrne, Sam Hoffman and I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who attended our performance of Reap What You Sow, Don’t Lose Heart! at the La MaMa Experimental Theater Club on Friday, July 18th.
By every initial measure, we enjoyed great success - an overflow audience; a standing ovation for Michelle and Grazia; a lively talkback brilliantly moderated by Pat; distinguished guests including New York City Councilmember Gale Brewer, independent US Senate candidate Diane Sare, Veterans For Peace national president Susan Schnall, leadership from numerous community, educational and religious groups such as Brooklyn For Peace, The Catholic Worker, Jewish Voice for Peace, the Granny Peace Brigade, Pax Christi NYS & Metro NYC, the Raging Grannies Metro NYC, and the War Resisters League; and a lovely reception co-hosted with Filippo De Capitani and the crew of La MaMa
– zool Zulkowitz, Artistic Director.
Now we turn to you, would your group like to book Reap! to use as a fundraiser and to activate the membership of your organization?
Please reach me at zool@rt.theater to book the show.
“It was wonderful!”
– NYC Councilmember Gale A. Brewer
